Dear Blog,
Once upon a time life was good. I'm doing my best to keep it that way too. My job is pretty great and I got to help cater a wedding on Friday and it was a blasty blast. Looks like I may be helping out with catering a little more too, which is AWESOME because it pays more and I could definitely use the money.
Last weekend was Kasey's baby shower so my family was in town to help celebrate. I'M SO EXCITED TO BE AN AUNT!!!!! And we just found out Katie is having a boy! Woo! A niece and a nephew, seriously so stoked! But anyways my parents brought their new dog Hallie and she is so cute! This is a picture of Hallie and Shellie (Shellie is Kasey's dog on the right).

It's been such a blessing to spend time with my sisters. Every time it's just us three in the car we are always singing at the top of our lungs and laughing. We can't seem to go anywhere either without taking some kind of dorky picture. We also somehow always end up spending an hour in a store even if were only there for 1 thing.

Also Katie, her mother-in-law, and I went and got our toes done this last week. I got glitter toes, and let me just stay they are incredibly entertaining/distracting. Check it!

Peace, Love, Crepes,
Tori

Dear Blog,
Once upon a time I started working at a crepe cafe called "The Roll Up" and it was awesome. Since I started working there I began making some stellar friends with my co-workers. They are all so fantastic. Each one has there own personality and we all have such a great time making jokes and trying not to mess up the orders. One of my favorite co-workers is Cassidy, she's amazing. We've decided that we're a Power team because we can basically keep the whole place under control, even when it's super busy.
The worse part of my job is that for some reason I am super accident prone. I come home everyday with new burns, new cuts, and new bruises. Right now I can count 9 injuries on my hands and arms, and that's not including the ones on my thighs and hips from running into the cutting boards. But oh well, it's all worth it. I really do love it and even bring some home with me everyday, not the actual food....but I always have batter all over my black clothes and usually some nutella or mixed berry sauce on my arms. Whatevs it's a blasty blast! Here is one of the designs that we make in our soups. We have Owls all over the place because were open really late. It's the big theme of the restaurant and people LOVE it! This one didn't turn out as good as some of my other ones but you get the gist.

Dear Blog,
Once upon a time...I moved to Provo, UT.
I wish I could say that since I've been here there's never been a dull moment...
BUT that would be the understatement of the year. I don't regret coming here at all and I know that this is where I am suppose to be for the time being, where I'm suppose to be in the next 4 months...well that's a whole other story I'm pretending that I don't have to finish yet. My first two weeks in my apartment I read a book ( a full size novel mind you) everyday in between job hunting and job hunting procrastination. It was AWESOME! I forgot how much I love to read, not to mention when I'm not forced to do it, I'm really good at it! Marcia Lynn McClure has supplied with me with almost enough books to keep me busy for the rest of this month. I love her books, I get trapped in them really easy. Now that I have a job I don't have as much time to read them but I still tend to read a book a day, even though it means I stay up til 3am finishing it because I can't put it down.
The best part about being here though is spending time with my sisters. I LOVE that they are both pregnant. I can't wait to be an aunt. It's going to be one of my favorite things in life. It's been so good to just have my sisters so close and be able to just relax when I'm around them because I know that there is absolutely no judgement. The other day we all went to Costco (mainly to get one of their delicious hand-dipped chocolate ice cream bars MMMM so Good!!!!) and we went to the glasses just to see if we could find a pair that were similar to the ones my Mom had back in the early 90's, alas we did not find the exact pair but these were close...at least I think we all look like my Mom's side of the family.
So far this has been a different kind of story for me but so far I'm liking it, although to be honest sometimes I wish I could just set it down for a while and "reread" some of the past chapters. But at the same time I just can't wait to find out what's at the end of this one.
